Gymnastics

Jones was very excited about gymnastics yesterday. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but it was very good. He is in a class of 7 kids--6 girls and 1 boy. Let's just say once again yesterday I was reminded how different boys and girls are! For the most part the girls all sat very quietly and listened to the instructions before trying anything; however, the boy of the group was ready to go try everything before Mr. Mike actually told them what to do next. We are going to definitely have to work on our listening ears, staying on our carpet square, staying in line for our turn, and NOT interuppting the teacher just to name a few! Also the outfits were a site to see! They ranged from nike shorts and sleeveless shirts (that was ours) to all-out hot pink sequin leotards and matching hair accessories! The girls were too cute! I really think Jones is going to have a good time at 'gymbastics' as he likes to call it! The second video is self explanatory; however in the first one, he is supposed to be in the beginning stages of a cartwheel! Let's just say it didn't happen yesterday! :-)
