SCORE!

This is our fourth week of soccer. Jones hasn't scored a goal until.....Saturday! For whatever reason, it clicked with him this week. He was more aggressive, blocked some kicks, kicked it out of bounds when he needed to and even scored some goals! Two goals in the first game and 2 or 3 in the second, but whose counting, right? :) His team is the Little Eagles, but after the AWESOME way they played together I think "Green Machine" may be more appropriate! (I had them staring right into the sun so they weren't very happy with me...)We can't forget our sweet little cheerleaders. It's hard to sit and watch the little ones play when there is a playground right around the corner, but the big sisters are usually pretty good to cheer on their siblings! Thank goodness Laynie has a friend to chit chat with! :) I don't understand all there is to know about soccer, but I do know any sport is exicting & super fun to watch when your kids are having fun! (OK scoring goals isn't too bad either!)

Pumpkin Patch Time

Finally some pictures worth blogging!

I think just about anyone can get a cute picture of their kids at the pumpkin patch...so enjoy! :)Not only were there pumpkins...there was also a petting zoo. Can you tell which of our children seems to be the bigger animal lover? Jones is surprising me with his love of animals (however I do think he was slight choking the poor chick) while Laynie really wants to like them, but she just can't! :)Finally after lots of pictures, we let them choose a pumpkin. They charge by the pound so thankfully Jones wanted a small one...it was his sister's mission to find the perfect one! She thinks she found one, and I actually approved so it must have been a good pumpkin--all 18 pounds of it!
