The K teachers at City Heights wrote a grant and ALL the Kindergarten students were allowed to ride the train from Van Buren to Winslow for FREE. Parents and siblings were invited to go as well so we made it a family affair. Nothing like a train ride with 40+ kindergarteners, four sack lunches, no air, and a tunnel with many squealing children!! Trey even took off for a few hours to make the trip--it was definitely a memory!!
